Description

GRIDShape1.5 Flat Lens is an innovative range of pre-fabricated shapes engineered to replace or mount directly to 9/16″ and 15/16″ T-Bar systems in suspended grid ceilings. Based on the low-profile 1.5″ wide GRIDSlot1.5 LED luminaire, shapes include standard 2X2, 2X4 and 1X8 frames. All GRIDShape1.5 products are designed for easy installation into T-Bar ceiling installs and are especially suited to low or zero plenum. GRIDShape1.5 is available in static white, tunable white, and RGBW, and features SmartBeam® technology for advanced symmetric and asymmetric distributions tailored to the space—all within an installer-friendly form factor. BABAA and TAA compliant, GRIDShape is manufactured in Woburn, MA using a North American supply chain.

Installation

Fixture Placement

Depending on its size, the fixture may come with corners and straight sections. Locate each section and assembly the fixture on a flat, clean surface.

Fixture Location

Fasten each housing to its mating housing with the provided joiner.

T-Bar Fins

Bring the fixture up to the T-Bar and fit it through the installed location. This step will require multiple people. Do not attempt this with a single individual.

Install Driver Box

Let the fixture rest on top of the Tbar in its final position. Add suspension supports as needed. There are points throughout the fixture body to fasten to.
