GRIDSlot3 Flat Lens is a patented recessed linear lighting solution engineered to replace or mount directly to 9/16″ and 15/16″ T-Bar systems in suspended grid ceilings. It delivers seamless integration, flexible layout options, and high-performance illumination. Built specifically for grid ceiling applications, GRIDSlot3 offers a zero plenum design that sits flush with the T-bar, enabling clean integration—even in no-plenum conditions. GRIDSlot3 Flat Lens is available in static white, tunable white, and RGBW, and features SmartBeam® technology for advanced symmetric and asymmetric distributions tailored to the space—all within an installer-friendly form factor. BABAA and TAA compliant, GRIDSlot is manufactured in Woburn, MA using a North American supply chain.

Installation
Fixture Placement
Once the grid structure has been installed, engage the GRIDSlot3 fixture into the desired location. Insert one end of the fixture at an angle and then the opposite end.
Fixture Location
The GRIDSlot3 fixture can be installed in line, replacing a T-Bar or freely between T-Bar locations. When installing in line, you may be required to fold over the T-Bar fin, to allow clearance for the end cap.
T-Bar Fins
If required, T-Bar Fins are included and can be installed anywhere along the GRIDSlot3 fixture body to receive a T-Bar that runs perpendicular to the fixture.
Install Driver Box
An enclosed driver box is provided which is either fastened to the top of the fixture housing or installed remotely. Connect the fixture’s Driver Box wires to the power source. Refer to the wiring diagram. Add structural supports as needed.
